Richard MacDonald has been creating art for half a century and is still actively adding to the body of work that will carry his reputation forward for posterity. As a living artist, his collection is still growing, yet it would be limiting to focus only on the novelty of the new. A privileged visitor to the studio would discover an extensive archive of works-- some rarely seen, some not seen at all for decades. This is a treasure trove of intriguing and beautiful work, where each piece reflects a significant facet of the artist’s vision. Each one is a moment in time. We would like to welcome you to The Vault Series, an ongoing online curated collection to simulate an all-access experience of walking through the vault of the studio, first catching sight of one piece, and then discovering another, and learning the unique story of each work of art.
