After devoting more than twenty years to the perfection of the human form in bronze, Richard MacDonald focused on a series of sculptures based on his work with dancers from the London Royal Ballet. In Chroma Column, performed by Steven McRae (link to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_McRae), Richard MacDonald captures the daring physicality of modern ballet with the precisely balanced figure caught in mid-air.
