The US Open Monument Commemorative was created by Richard MacDonald to share the landmark of the 100th US Open Golf Tournament at the historic Pebble Beach Golf Links in 2000. US Open Monument Commemorative is a maquette of the monument itself, representing the anatomy of the perfect golf swing as it encircles centuries of excellence past, present and future. The 100th US Open Monument by Richard MacDonald stands 17' high and resides permanently at Pebble Beach, California . The monument's base, designed by the artist, is engraved with the past 100 winners on the front including a special bronze plaque for 2000 championship winner, Tiger Woods. On the backside of the monument base the next 100 winners will be engraved.
